Gallery 122 at Hang It presents a showing of new works by the staff at Hang It. “Worker’s Compensation: The Second Claim” will run from April 11 through May 9, with an artist reception held on April 11, from 7-10 pm with music by Keston & Westdal.

The staff at Hang It has more than 50 years of combined experience in the picture framing and art industry. These picture framing-artists work in mediums that range from pen and ink to colored pencils, ceramics to painted miniatures and mixed media to 3-dimensional plexi-glass paintings. Each artist has a very individual mode of expression and source for inspiration but are bounded together through the art of picture framing. Through their individual passion for the arts, the staff at Hang It is able to bridge the gap between the visual arts and the art of picture framing. Join Gallery 122 in this unique experience to see the art that is created behind the scenes by the employees of a local frame shop.
