About me

Teresa Mock holds an MFA in Lecoq Based Actor Created Theatre from Naropa University with training completed at The London International School for Performing Arts (LISPA.)  She also has a BA in Theatre from the University of Minnesota.  Her most recent work was Blue Buick for Theatre of Inspirations, London. Blue Buick used shadow puppetry to tell the story of the dairy farm formerly operated by Teresa's family in St. Michael, MN. Teresa served as writer/performer/scenographer for the piece while the project's creation was largely ensemble based. In 2005 Teresa produced and performed her autobiographical solo-performance Piece Story at The Varsity Theatre. The project was later remounted by 20% Theatre Company in 2007 and gained national recognition from Curve Magazine, the best selling lesbian magazine for Best of Lesbian Regional Theatre. Teresa has directed several other projects and has also appeared in Black Comedy directed by Joel Sass at the U of MN, As You Like It directed by Diane Mountford (MN Shakespeare Project), and in two touring shows for The National Theatre for Children. She has also worked as a collaborator with The Interact Center for Visual and Performing Arts on Future Perfect (2007), and as part of their piece for The Choreographer's Evening 2009 at The Walker Art Center. She will be seen in Four Humors' Welcome to Dystopia at Bedlam this March.

Teresa invites you to do a little spelunking at her show Batmama coming up in August for the 2010 MN Fringe Festival!
