Snowstorm in MN x Flood in São Paulo

Serving free food on Cedar Avenue in Minneapolis

"We just come out every Saturday with a big pot of soup or stir fry and have lunch with people," said Sarah Lynne who is part of a group called Missio Dei. Looking for Park(ing) Day in Minneapolis, St. Paul

Lawnchairs, shrubs, grills and even music were brought to parking spaces in parts of Minneapolis and Saint Paul on September 17. The annual Park(ing) Day had groups of activists, artists and citizens transforming parking spaces into impromptu parks, with the meter plugged all day.
