Fight for MN minimum wage hike may go to referendum over indexing

On March 27, the Minnesota legislative debate over raising the minimum wage took a new twist. Senate Majority Leader Tom Bakk proposed that indexing the minimum wage to inflation go forward as a constitutional amendment to be ratified by voters.
