Volunteer recognition dinner

Join Corcoran Neighborhood Organization, Mujeres en Accion, and the Midtown Farmers Market for a fajita dinner prepared by Corcoran resident and Kabomelette chef Greg Miller! The event is scheduled for February 12 at Corcoran Park, and all Corcoran residents are invited. Dinner begins at 6:00 pm, accompanied by music from blues musician and Midtown Farmers Market performer Matt Yetter. An awards ceremony honoring Corcoran’s Volunteer of the Year and Lifetime Volunteer recipients will begin at 6:30 pm, followed by dessert and time to socialize with neighbors and volunteers.

Do you know someone who has greatly contributed to Corcoran Neighborhood? If so, nominate him/her for a Volunteer of the Year award! Neighbors may be recognized for large-scale or small-scale efforts, gestures of goodwill, and other acts the benefit our community. Submit the nominee’s name, your name, and a brief statement explaning how the the volunteer has contributed to the neighborhood to Elizabeth at ingo [at] corcoranneighborhood [dot] org, or to 3451 Cedar Avenue South.
