Black Environmental Thought 2 conference to deal with environmental justice this weekend

The Black Environmental Thought II conference is scheduled for the Twin Cities this weekend. The event brings scholars, activists, farmers, artists and gardeners together with environmentalists and outdoor enthusiasts from across the African diaspora to talk about environmental justice. That’s a big conversation that will play out over three days. Poet, educator and environmental activist Louis Alemayehu stopped by KFAI to talk about the conference, and why it fosters a necessary conversation.
