NEIGHBORHOOD NOTES | Hip-hop at Northeast Library in April
Northeast teens, may be surprised to learn what’s happening during April at the Northeast Library, 2250 Central Avenue NE. Working in partnership with McNally Smith College of Music the Library is sponsoring a first-rate hip-hop workshop featuring a roster of recognized local masters.
Learn the ins and outs of the industry and local history from legends including I Self Devine, Zach Combs, Travitron and Truth Maze with Rhymesayer Toki Wright.
Sessions will be Thursday evenings, April 5-26, 6:00-7:30 p.m. at the Library. Students in grades 7-12 may register online or by calling 612 543 6775.
The series is funded by the Minnesota Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.
