Stories of renewal for North Branch Library
Minneapolis' first branch library is about to get a new lease on life. The North Branch library was built in 1893. More than a century later it is about to get new life through the help of Emerge and Mike Wynne.
In this video, the North Branch library community comes together to tell how they knew this library when it was open. Police Chief Dolan, began his Odyssey here, others that grew up nearby describe it too. Then, the architect briefs us on the future of the building, as a technology center for its neighborhood.
