Over three weeks in June and July, 18 youth from Saint Paul Park’s and Rec’s Jr. Kidventure program worked with Saint Paul Neighborhood Network, a local filmmaker, community members and historians to produce four thought-provoking documentaries exploring issues affecting Saint Paul’s East Side neighborhood as part of SPNN’s Neighborhood Video Project.

In this video, youth interview Janice Quick, about her experiences as a youth growing up near Phalen Lake and talk to current neighborhood residents about their experiences in the park.
