Lind-Bohanon Neighborhood News and Events

Lind-Bohanon has a small town atmosphere where neighbors (many of whom have lived in the neighborhood for generations) pride themselves on knowing each other and taking an active role in improving the neighborhood. Homes are modestly priced, crime is scarce, and the neighborhood has beautiful community gardens, trails, great parks, an elementary school and connections to the Mississippi River. Catch theGrand Rounds just south of the Lind-Bohanon border-where trails travel all the way around Minneapolis. Lyndale Avenue North-between 44th and 49th Avenues-is home to a mix of businesses right in the neighborhood. Lind-Bohanon is connected to many of the surrounding neighborhoods by walking/biking trails and is just a quick trip via I-94 to downtown Minneapolis with its sports, theater, art, restaurant, and retail offerings. In addition to I-94, the neighborhood is also close to I-694 and highways 200 and 252-connecting the neighborhood's homes to work and social activities in other parts of the region.
