The chart shows an overall decrease of crime in the four Longfellow neighborhoods compared to 2011.Best progress shows in larceny which dropped 25 percent and robbery which dropped 89 percent. Minnehaha Free Space offers new community space in Longfellow

After months of fundraising via dance parties and radical history lessons a new community space is open in Minneapolis’s Longfellow neighborhood. The Minnehaha Free Space, open July 17, has already attracted the interest of the South Side Free Skool, which will hold classes in the sunny main room.MORE »
