Harrison is conveniently located minutes from downtown Minneapolis, the Minneapolis Farmers' Market, the Walker Arts Center, and the beaches at Cedar-Lake and is well-served by transit and has easy access to I-394/94.The neighborhood is home to the International Market Square-a regional destination that includes a large number of interior design and home / commercial designer showrooms, the American Institute of Architects Minnesota offices, and residential loft space. Harrison residents enjoy recreational opportunities at Theodore Wirth Park, Basset's Creek Park and Harrison Park-providing outdoor experiences year-round.  Housing in the neighborhood ranges from lofts to apartments to newly constructed single-family homes to turn-of-the-century houses-many available at modest prices.
