Savage Umbrella may be onto something with their workshops; The Ravagers underwent the scrutiny of the public and turned out to be a 2011 hit. Written by Rachel Nelson and directed by Laura Leffler-McCabe, Rain Follows the Plow is hoping for similar feedback to become just as successful. The play tells two parallel stories that happen in the past and present and explores, as Nelson puts it, "what it means when manifest destiny worms its way between the sheets."
