CARAG is a distinctive and exciting city neighborhood located just minutes from downtown Minneapolis and the Minneapolis Chain of Lakes—including Lake Calhoun, which is within walking distance. The neighborhood includes a mix of single family homes, small and large apartment buildings, churches, a park and small businesses. The CARAG area is well known because part of the community lies within the trendy Uptown and Lyn Lake business nodes—giving residents and visitors many opportunities to eat and shop at unique establishments as well as visit art and theater spaces.   • Bryant Square Recreation Center-offers year-round recreational opportunities for people of all ages.
  • Bryant Square Park--Come to the park in the summer to cool off in the wading pool and warm up in the winter with a hockey game or ice skating on a rink established in 1913.
