The City of Minneapolis is officially divided into 81 neighborhoods, grouped into 11 communities. Below, the neighborhoods are listed by community. Residents of the five University District neighborhoods—University, Marcy-Holmes, Prospect Park, Como, and the West Bank/Cedar-Riverside—can also read neighborhood news and subscribe to our University District newsletter on our News of the University District page. (This is a pilot project undertaken with the support of the Southeast Publications Board; we hope to create similar pages and newsletters for other Twin Cities communities soon.)
