How to fill out your Daily Planet member page
Did you know that you have your own member page on the Daily Planet? Here's how to find it, and to use it to help your neighbors learn more about you and your interests. First, find the login panel on the right side of any Daily Planet page on the Daily Planet. Sign in here—or create an account if you don't have one yet! |

| Now that you're signed in, click on View member page to see your member page. |

On your member page, click the BIOGRAPHY tab to access your biography editor. |

| In the biography editor, under your name you'll see an About Me box. Tell the world about yourself! The text here can be as long as you like, and can include links to other relevant websites. |

| Now, scroll down. You'll find a field for Favorite Places. Where in the Twin Cities do you like to hang out? |

Further down, you'll see blanks for you to share your Activities and Interests. |

Do you have a personal website? If so, put the URL in the blank labeled Personal Web site URL. Under Personal Web site Title, you can type the name of your site. |

In the field Facebook profile, you can provide the URL of your Facebook profile. |

The field Twitter URL is where you can provide the URL of your Twitter profile. Type your Twitter handle under Twitter Title. |

Choose some tags to help others with similar interests find you! |

Next, enter your Street Address. This will not be visible to the public, but it will help us place you in your neighborhood. (You can even enter a second address if you have a pied-à-terre.) |

Finally, at the bottom of the edit screen, write a very short Article credit text. (Must be fewer than 160 characters.) This will appear at the bottom of every article and blog post you write. |

Almost finished! Scroll down to the bottom of the screen and hit Save. Then, click the EDIT tab right above your name. |

Under the Edit tab, scroll down to upload your picture! |

Once your photo has been uploaded, click Save at the bottom of that screen—and you're done! Where do you find your profile? Just click your name from the byline of any story or blog post by you, or click on View member page in the member menu. |

That will take you to your completed member page! Read all about yourself, and scroll down to see the stories you've written. |

Where else is your smiling face? Use our drop-down menu to find your neighborhood in Minneapolis or St. Paul. |

Look in the rightmost column and scroll down—there you are! At home on the Daily Planet. |
