Lisa Peterson-de la Cueva, Neighborhoods Editor
Lisa Peterson-de la Cueva (lisa@tcdailyplanet.net) is neighborhoods editor and community outreach coordinator at the TC Daily Planet. Previously she worked in international development and was a teacher. She has a master’s degree in teaching and has taught English to adult immigrants in St. Paul and social studies to junior high students in New York City, where she lived for eight years. She has published work in the TC Daily Planet, the MN Women’s Press, the Rake, and others. She recently betrayed her St. Paul roots by moving to Minneapolis, but crosses the river daily and explores neighborhoods in both cities.
She will head off to New York again in the fall to enroll in the Literary Reportage program at NYU with the help of a New York Times Foundation fellowship.
