Director: EVA DAHR

This romantic comedy starts where others end -- as happy “power couples” on career upswings - Ida, an ambitious architect, and Mathias, the ideal man, have found each other, have a good life, challenging jobs and great children.

But their ideal marriage is scuttled by a sailboat when Mathias purchases it without his wife’s approval. Things go on from there as one might predict if you read Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus, whence the film’s title. Mars & Venus focuses on communication between the sexes, and the unpredictable storyline proceeds with sympathetic struggling characters in this thoughtful exploration of different universes in the pursuit of happiness.
