Pan Asian Arts Festival * Part I: Festival/Asian Style
Led by Pan Asian Arts Alliance, local Asian American & Pacific Islander (AAPI) arts groups have come together to host the 3rd Annual Pan Asian Arts Festival, Part I: Festival/Asian Style Saturday, May 20, 2012, from Noon until 5pm, at the Landmark Center, 75 West 5th Street, St. Paul, MN 55102.
At the First Floor of the Landmark Center, you will find non-stop Pan Asian Dance performances; Games; and Asian arts/crafts activities which may include the making of traditional hats, masks, and other cultural activities, such as: Asian Dance Costume Try-on; Vietnamese Story-telling; Chinese Calligraphy; Face Painting with Asian traditional patterns; and Japanese Origami, etc. This is a free admission event, for a joyful family weekend.
This event is funded, in part, by the Minnesota State Arts Board through the arts and cultural heritage fund as appropriated by the Minnesota State Legislature with money from the Legacy Amendment vote of the people of Minnesota on November 4, 2008. Other major sponsors include: St. Paul Cultural STAR grant, Metropolitan Regional Arts Council, and Target Foundation.
