The weather is getting warmer and the URGE to DANCE is getting stronger. We have an exciting season of Don’t You Feel It Too? planned for this summer and fall including weekly practices, a special session at Northern Spark, and two intensives exploring Happiness and Activism. The Big Back Yard brings summer science fun into the sunshine

Mini-golf and outdoor science fun is only a putter’s length away! The Big Back Yard , the Science Museum’s 1.2-acre outdoor exhibit gallery, is now open for the season. A perennial summer visitor favorite, the Big Back Yard features a science-style mini-golf course, which explores how water shapes the land beneath our feet, as well as a 17,000-square foot prairie maze, which features plants and grasses that are native to Minnesota’s landscape. NASA’s Destination Station at Science Museum of Minnesota

Destination Station is an exhibit, developed by NASA’s International Space Station Program, which travels the country and promotes awareness about the activities performed on the International Space Station and their real and impact on our everyday lives. Black and White refers to both the striking graphic qualities of the printed image and to the divisiveness at the heart of apartheid—the segregation of black and white. At once hilarious and heartfelt, The Pink Unicorn is an award-winning solo theatre piece that tells the story of Trisha Lee, a Christian widow, living in a conservative Texas town, whose life is thrown into turmoil when her teenage daughter announces she is “gender queer” and starting a Gay/Straight Alliance at the local high school. When the school principal rejects the GSA’s application for inclusion as a school club, Trisha must choose sides in her rapidly dividing town.
