Intro to Flamenco
For those new to flamenco, this is the place to start! This will touch on a little of everything about flamenco: History, terminology, song forms, basic dance movements, and more. We will listen to music, learn palmas, begin to recognize palos, and learn to be an educated aficionado. Three sessions total. These classes can be taken in any order, so feel free to start up at any point. Every 45 minute class is its own little chunk of history, movement, and terminology.
