TCDP TOP PICK: Dickens's ghosts aren't the only fictional spirits to have haunted the holidays; three of them are making appearances this season at the Bryant-Lake Bowl, accompanied by live (what else?) theremin music. - Jay Gabler |
Three classics with Christmas themes: "The Hauntings at Grantley Grange," a Victorian-era cross between a ghost story and a screwball comedy; "The Broken-Hearted Ghost," about how annoying it can be to have a ghost in the house; and "The Water Ghost of Harrowby Hall," one of the most famous ghost stories ever written. Light, fast-paced, witty comedies in the vein of Oscar Wilde, accompanied by live theremin music. Fun for the whole family - just a little spooky, not really scary at all.
