Panda Sandwich Presents: "Buckle Your Shoes!"
Panda Sandwich will be performing a new show, called "Buckle Your Shoes!" on Tuesday, November 17, 2009, as a part of their 2009 Season at Kieran's Irish Pub! The show will be an hour long and features sexy puritans, child detectives, and the very special Panda Sandwich American History Pageant, in which we present our nation's history in the only format we know how to: as bad teen movies.

Local author and University of Minnesota professor, Keith Mayes, will discuss his book, Kwanzaa: Black Power and the Making of the African American Holiday Tradition, on Tuesday, November 17 at 4:00 p.m. at the University of Minnesota Bookstore in Coffman Memorial Union, 300 Washington Ave. S.E. Minneapolis.

The Katherine E. Nash Gallery is honored to present Talking Suitcases: Gathering Life Stories in a Diverse World, an exhibition with performances and public/community events curated by Joyce Lyon and Susan Armington.
