Event Description:

Citizens and the Future of News will look at the state of major mainstream news outlets, community-based sources and emerging formats to explore how ordinary citizens are impacting the future of news. The forum will feature a conversation with media critic and NYU professor Mark Crispin Miller and Lizz Winstead, co-creator of "The Daily Show", as well as panel discussions with representatives from the StarTribune, Pioneer Press, MPR and a variety of community-based news media.
