Paint the Pavement
The pavement mural at East 34th Street and 19th Avenue South will be repainted on Saturday, May 12 starting at 9:00 a.m.! Neighbors are invited to help paint or watch it unfold. Children under 12 should be accompanied by a parent or adult.
Recovery Bike Shop offers maintenance workshop on May 24
Cyclists throughout the city are learning the intricacies of bike maintenance – tire inflation, bake adjustment, cleaning and lubricating a bike chain and changing a tube. For Northeasters the neighborhood maintenance site is at Recovery Bike Shop on Thursday, May 24. Recovery is at 2555 Central Avenue NE.
