The Adam Meckler Orchestrais an 18-piece band (including some U of M students) featuring all original compositions and arrangements by Adam Meckler. The instrumentation is that of a traditional jazz big band, with influences by modern pop, rock, and gospel. This is an outdoor concert located on Northrop Plaza at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities.

Featuring local female indie-rockers including singer-songwriter Haley Bonar, who recently released the album Golder; Brute Heart, selected as City Pages’ Best Female Vocalist in April 2012; and U of M student indie folk rock band Reina del Cid and the Cidizens.
