Bruce Tapola at Art of This: "Au Naturel"
Art of This is privileged to present a new mixed media installation by St. Paul-based artist Bruce Tapola. This installation, AU NATUREL, combines two distinctive bodies of work recently exhibited separately at Occasional Gallery in St. Paul.
Lowertown First Friday
Lowertown First Fridays (LFF) is an association of artists who open their studios (or have a gallery arrangement) on the first Fridays of the month. Local businesses are also involved. We want to bring people downtown to have a good time, be part of the art scene, and of course to buy art.
Art Attack
Art Attack is an annual open studio and gallery crawl at the Northrup King Building, in the heart of the Northeast Minneapolis Arts District. The weekend-long event features over 200 artists working in painting and drawing, sculpture, photography, architecture, custom furniture, fiber arts, metal, ceramics, glass, hand-crafted and custom jewelry, mixed media, mosaics, textiles, and more.
Dan Graham at the Walker
Join the artist in conversation with Bennett Simpson and Chrissie Iles, curators of Dan Graham: Beyond. Simpson is associate curator at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Los Angeles, and Iles is the Anne and Joel Ehrenkranz Curator at New York's Whitney Museum of American Art. Post-punk duo Japanther kicks off the discussion with a short set.

Internationally renowned painter Amy Sillman will be in residence at Minnesota State University, Mankato on October 26, 27, 28. Ms. Sillman will be conducting critiques and lecturing about her work.
Her public lecture will be Monday October 26th at 7 pm Ostrander Auditorium the Minnesota State University, Mankato Centennial student union.
