I could make the argument that Kansas, Nugent and other arena acts GAINED fans because people who hated disco REALLY hated disco (myself included).”

“John Jansen’s comments made me think of some of the bad things white people have done. Timothy McVeigh! Terry Nichols! The Unabomber! Not to mention almost all the serial killers in the U.S.! And all those Arab terrorists — they’re Caucasian! I just don’t think we can afford to have white people running this country. They are way too dangerous.”

“I really used to be amazed how these individuals could be so blatant about who they really are, and yet have their assemblies still pour money into their pockets so they can live like movie stars…and then you have those who are of the new faith: CASHIANS and followers of Santa Christ.”

Additional Greenlight Proposals
In addition to proposing energy and aesthetic improvements to the HERC facility, greenlight also proposed strategies that target both the individual consumer as well as long term system improvements.
First one of greenlight’s goals is educating consumers that trash is not a renewable resource.
“Minnesota throws away over 1 million tons of recyclable material each year. The 1 million tons of material which could be recycled has an estimated value of $312 million dollars. It costs Minnesota $200 million to dispose of this material.” (http://recyclemoreminnesota.org/why/stats) That is a $512 million loss by burning this resource.
One proposal included using the stadium, a controlled environment, as a Zero waste model by using only recylcable and compotable products. This can both eliminate trash and educate thousands of citizens from around the entire state about being responsible with our waste.
Furthermore, the group looked long term proposing a “sunsetting” scheme for HERC that phases out burning this resource to become a waste sorting facility that eliminates landfill trash altogether.
