proposed burner in Phillips

Nice reporting on a complicated story.

As a long-time enviro, I’m amazed and disappointed that so many people—and not just in Minnesota!—who should know better are endorsing “biomass” burning without looking into the harmful emissions. It’s as if, somehow, they think people should have to sacrifice their health and quality of life to deal with global warming…..

Hopefully, those who have endorsed this project without knowing the full story will now reconsider their positions.

Here is a collection of links related to the proposed Phillips “biomass” burner. (We will try to keep it up to date. Please send suggestions for additions):

(The alligator, and at least a hundred other choices, come on a stick—not sure about the zeppoles.) Ready to go? Here are some useful tips on getting to the fair. MORE »
