Help Is Available

Great editorial on the debt/uneployment issue that many MN families are facing (or may face shortly).

Just a reminder to your readers that In Minnesota, there is help available for homeowners who have concerns about their mortgage or who are facing foreclosure. One resource is the Minnesota Homeownership Center which leads a network of 25 nonprofit and government based agencies that offer services to any homeowner Minnesota FREE OF CHARGE. Last year, the Homeownership Center worked with over 12,000 Minnesota homeowners and more than 60% of them were able to avoid foreclosure.  Other resources are available... but watch out for scam artists:  they’re popping up across Minnesota.   For links on where to get help, visit our website at www.hocmn.org.  THANKS!
