Appearing on Tuesdays, his column Sounding off on Sound will focus on local music and spoken word.


On Wednesdays, Jeremy Iggers—Twin Cities Media Alliance executive director, founder of TC Foodies, and longtime restaurant critic for the Star Tribune—writes about food in Iggers Digest.


Ask a Somali

Also on Wednesdays, Ifrah Jimale presents Ask a Somali, answering your questions about Somali-American life in an informative but entertaining style.


Front Row Seat was the name of Jay Gabler's movie column when he was a teenager contributing to the High School High 5. Now arts editor at the Daily Planet, he writes about all aspects of the local, national, and international artworlds in his column, which will appear on Thursdays.


Courtney Algeo's column Lit Lyfe appears on Thursdays, chronicling people, places, and publications on the local literary scene.


Also on Thursdays, Jim Brunzell writes about film from a local angle. He takes a critical perspective, but he's an Optimistic Pessimist.


In Friday's News Day, Daily Planet editor Mary Turck brings an informed perspective to analyses of local, national, and international news.
