Sunbathing on my Zinnia by Pam Colby
It is a brilliant day on Park Avenue in Minneapolis. This grasshopper caught my eye as I walked pass the zinnias on the side of my house.
September was the seventh month of the Roman calendar, but is the ninth accoring to our rechoning. The anglo-Saxons called it 'gerst-monath',-Barley month!
September blows soft,-Till the fruits in the loft.
