Standing with Rose and Howard: One woman's foreclosure story
NCRC and JCA created a Change.org petition in support of Rose McGee and Howard Crutcher, along with this video. They explain:
Rose is a master storyteller, longtime community leader, and the widow of prominent African American attorney William McGee. With steady income, money saved up and the Northside Community Reinvestment Coalition at her side, she was promised that CitiMortgage was reviewing her case for a loan modification. After several weeks of calls, a Citi representative told her on June 4th that her home had actually been sold on May 18th.
Rose McGee and Howard Crutcher demand fair treatment from CitiMortgage, with the support of the Northside Community Reinvestment Coalition and Jewish Community Action.
