Saturday the 15th of Ocober was yet another spectacular fall day. An excellent day to take a bike ride and I knew where there would be a great event to hang out at for a few hours. So I ventured down to the People's Plaza in downtown Minneapolis. A place where everybody who believes in equality and justice can feel immediately at home. Go and experience a change in the direction of our country. Go and help make a difference, go to see, go to encourage, go to be encouraged. We the people . . .

diversity is our strength

All opinions are welcome

Imagine . . .

Imagine there's no Heaven
It's easy if you try
No hell below us
Above us only sky
Imagine all the people
Living for today

Imagine there's no countries
It isn't hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for
And no religion too
Imagine all the people
Living life in peace

You may say that I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will be as one

Imagine no possessions
I wonder if you can
No need for greed or hunger
A brotherhood of man
Imagine all the people
Sharing all the world

You may say that I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will live as one

Hennepin County & the People At The Plaza

I would like to voice my opinion about the lack of support the participants have recieved from our elected officials. Occupy MN was a planned LEGAL activity for which all proper permits required by the county and the City of Minneapolis were obtained to peacefully assemble 24 hours a day in support of OWC. Having issued this permit until 1-1-2012, you would hacve to know that people would need to camp at the site. How unfair. To further escalt this assault on the demonstraters, after the second day of the assebly the elecricity was cut off. When protesters errected shelter their tents  were confiscated by police in the early hours of the morning. These  same officials earlier allowed the tents to be erected in front of the PRESS! Tell me, Who here is in support of these barbaric means of countrol by county and local officials?

In Solidarity, Joe Hill
