O'Gara's Bar and Grill has been a St. Paul institution since 1941, when James O'Gara opened its doors. O'Gara's is the oldest family-owned institution of its kind in St. Paul, still in its original location.

O'Gara's Garage was established in 1985, as one of St. Paul's premiere music venues.

The Twin Cities Daily Planet, a project of the Twin Cities Media Alliance, is a community newswire and syndication service showcasing the best work of the neighborhood and community press, as well as work by independent journalists and the voices of engaged citizens.
