SATURDAY PICK | The ArtCars (and ArtBikes, and ArtBoats) ride again at Lake Harriet

To be fair, not everyone would consider covering a truck with corks or plastering Barbie parts all over a '92 Chevy to be "art"...but semantics aside, some of America's craziest rides will roll around Lake Harriet for the 18th annual ArtCar + ArtBike parade, departing from the Lyndale Park Rose Garden at 6 p.m. on July 21. Bring snacks, a camera, and a sense of humor.

Showcasing 3,000 plants in 100 different varieties, the Lyndale Park Rose Garden is the second oldest public rose garden in the United States.
