Given that the Bryant-Lake Bowl is one of the only venues in town where you can order drinks while you're watching a play, youth-centered entertainments on its stage tend to be restricted to the likes of The Saved By the Bell Show. On July 22 and 23, though, Philadelphia's No Face Performance Group are coming to the BLB with The Beautiful Refrigerator is Empty, "a multi-disciplinary exploration of the transformative pressures of adolescence" that aims to bring "Grand Guignol horror" to prom night. What would Mr. Dewey say?
