MONDAY PICK | Fiona Apple returns, trailing clouds of glory, to the Orpheum Theatre
Lauryn Hill's going to the slammer, but at least one 90s heroine is back at the top of her game: Fiona Apple, whose new album The Idler Wheel is Wiser Than the Driver of the Screw and Whipping Cords Will Serve You More Than Ropes Will Ever Do has been acclaimed as a worthy follow-up to its three now-classic predecessors. The only artist Bob Dylan's ever gone to the Grammys and asked to be introduced to is playing at the Orpheum on July 16, and you don't want to miss it—she might just decide to take another seven years or longer before waxing another disc.
