THURSDAY PICK | Chris Bartels plays his last show as "Chris Bartels"
There's a certain talented local singer-songwriter you've grown to know and love as "Chris Bartels." After July 26, though, he'll no longer be. That is, he'll no longer be "Chris Bartels." Well, to be precise, he will still be Chris Bartels, but he'll stop being "Chris Bartels" and will start being "some yet-to-be-announced band name." I mean, put that in brackets, because we actually don't know. Point being, you should probably go see him at the Aster Cafe before everything gets complicated—especially since the lovely Aria Souder is his opening act.
