Years in the making, the Minnesota African American Museum and Cultural Center is finally a reality. Opening it doors to the public on June 1, the museum will celebrate its opening on June 2 with what it's calling the first annual Legacy Festival. Minnesota Twins vets will be on hand to visit the exhibit Bringing It Home—about "Black N' Brown" baseball in Minnesota—and events will include storytelling, a scavenger hunt, and double-dutch jump roping.
