Q: Who IS that? A: Naythen Gaut, America's sexiest cable guy

Name: Naythen Gaut
Twitter: @sexynaythen

What's your job?
"Professional cable guy."

Other than your job, what are your claims to fame?
"Hmmm, general man-about-town? Lover of burritos. A sometime-DJ. Minor-league kickballer."

Where are you most frequently seen?
"The Triple Rock, Grumpy's Downtown, First Ave, Club Jäger, and the Uptown VFW. I also like to frequent Taco Taxi, Pineda, Los Ocampos, La Hacienda, El Taco Riendo, and, lately, Rusty Taco in Northeast Minneapolis."

Where are you least frequently seen?
"Bro-ey places like Drink or Stella's, although I'll go anywhere at least once."

With whom are you most often seen?
"I am most often seen with my housemate Beardman and/or my li'l sister/wingwoman Miss Sarah G."

Where were you born?
"Robbinsdale."

In what neighborhood do you live?
"Manitoba Park in Robbinsdale. My house is four blocks from where I was born. Weird, right? C'mon, real estate market, get me out of here."

What's your ride?
"I mostly drive a big van that says 'Xfinity' on it, but my personal ride is a 2002 Ford Ranger. It's got four-wheel drive and I can fit stuff in it, but it's just small enough to get me out of helping people move. I also have a Surly Crosscheck and an old Raleigh that I use as my bar bike if it's likely to be locked someplace overnight or a day or two. Oh, and the 14 bus."

What's the best way to start a conversation with you?
"The best way to start a conversation with me is to ask me where the nearest anything is. The worst way is to ask me if I've seen that one movie starring Jim Carrey."

    Confused

I'm confused. Is this just an opportunity for you to "advertise" for your social circle now? Because I've never even heard or seen some of these people.

    Suggestions?

As the sidebar mentions, we accept any/all suggestions for people to be featured in this column. Just e-mail jay [at] tcdailyplanet [dot] net. The only suggestion I've ever rejected is Scott Seekins.
