Q: Who IS that? A: Kara Williams, at your service
Name: Kara Williams
Website: "I have none. My cat, Annie, has a Twitter account, but I've taken away her computer privileges. She's still young and impressionable, and I'm concerned about Internet predators."
What's your job?
"I'm a server at Namaste Cafe."
Other than your job, what are your claims to fame?
"I was on the flier for the Forever Young Prom, which was featured in Vita.mn. My roommates and I are known for throwing some pretty crazy parties, too."
What's your relationship status?
"Mostly taken currently, but I maintain I'm a bachelorette for life."
Where are you most likely to be seen?
"The Uptown VFW is without a doubt my second home. The people who work/hang out there are nothing short of family to me. Otherwise, probably at various shows, the Kitty Cat Klub, First Ave, etc."
Where are you least likely to be seen?
"I avoid most of the Uptown/downtown trendy bar scene—Chino Latino, Cafeteria, Cowboy Slim's, etc.—unless it's salsa night at Bar Abilene and I'm with the Namaste crew."
With whom are you most likely to be seen?
"Typically anyone from the VFW TUES NGHT MUSC CLUB/Forever Young crew, or the kids from Friday Night Bike Gang. Holla! Otherwise, I choose to spend quite a bit of my time with Mister Michael Montag."
Where were you born?
"Yankton, South Dakota."
What neighborhood do you live in now?
"Uptown."
What's your ride?
"Bike. I do enjoy the occasional bus ride. I like to think of it as my stretch limousine."
What's the best way for someone to start a conversation with you?
"Make me laugh, or buy me a drink. I rarely turn down free alcohol."
