"Creative director at Carmichael Lynch."
Other than your job, what are your claims to fame?
"I was on Entertainment Tonight in the early 80s with my siblings. We were a non-cartoon, non-rodent version of the Chipmunks and we sang country music." [Well, and there are a few other things: art, photography, design, music. Earlier this year, Davis won a Keeper Award from METRO magazine.]
What's your relationship status?
"I'm married to a fine Northern Minnesota lass named Alyn. She is awesome. On one of our first dates she brought me a stack of hunting magazines."
Where are you most likely to be seen?
"The Four Firkins. Dog park by the airport. Ambrosia coffee shop. First Ave. Liquor Lyle's. Quang is one of my favorite restaurants in the Cities; I'm often there on the weekends with my my face buried in a bowl of the 505."
Where are you most likely not to be seen?
"Fuddruckers, Hom Furniture, the Ramp B stairwell, Nickelodeon Universe, Jo-Ann Fabrics, the Cabooze."
Other than your wife, with what person are you most likely to be seen?
"With my 5-year-old son, Ames. He and I can be found wandering the aisles of Menards or Home Depot looking for caulk or chicken wire or something."
Where were you born?
"Marietta, Georgia. I'm a Southern man, so yes, I enjoy eating grits and drinking iced tea that is already sweetened. I moved up to Minnesota in 1995."
In what neighborhood do you live?
"Minnehaha."
What's your ride?
"If I could ride atop Falkor, the whimsical dragon from The Neverending Story, I certainly would. Alas, I travel via foot, bike and car."
What's the best way for someone to start a conversation with you?
"I prefer that a person accidentally knock me over and then say something like 'Hey, you got your chocolate in my peanut butter.' And then I would say, 'Actually, I do believe you got your peanut butter in my chocolate.'"
