THURSDAY PICK | Literary Death Match returns to the West Bank

Literary competitions are a dime a dozen, but few of them happen in real time, in front of your face, with a hearty slosh of beer. That's the Literary Death Match, a read-off overseen by the droll Todd Zuniga. Zuniga travels the world in his capacity as LDM referee, and Minneapolis has become one of his most frequent stops. The Twin Cities literary/spoken-word community always shows up in force for Zuniga's wordy brawls, and that's sure to be the case on March 1 at the Nomad for the competition among Martin Kihn, Tristan Jimerson, Sarah Stonich, and Kao Kalia Yang.
Coverage of issues and events affecting Central Corridor communities is funded in part by a grant from the Central Corridor Collaborative.
