TUESDAY PICK | Amy Krouse Rosenthal brings golden "Wumbers" to the Red Balloon Bookshop

What do you get when you cross words with numbers? Wumbers, obviously. Writer Amy Krouse Rosenthal and illustrator Tom Lichtenheld have filled their new picture book with rebus-style words that will be lots of fun for kids at the like-to-be-clever age. (Hint: that would be all ages.) Rosenthal will be at the Red Balloon on July 17 for a reading that will be slumber-party-themed, with PJs and pillows encouraged. Unfortunately, the Oneders were not available to play the gig.
