Dems offer online form letter with drop-down apologies to Limbaugh

March 04, 2009

Democrats have invented an online tool that generates apology letters to Rush Limbaugh with a series of drop-down menus for filling in the blanks. The dittohead widget was inspired by and incorporates mea culpas from leading Republicans after they made comments critical of Limbaugh, the radio host seen as ascendant in the GOP. Apparently the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee is offering it in the spirit of bipartisan support that saw national Republican organizations back Al Franken and Democrats in asking the federal government to allow more committees with fewer rules to raise funds for the Minnesota U.S. Senate election contest trial.
