AAJA showcases Lion Dancers, Korean drumming

Korean drumming and a Lion Dance were just part of the great entertainment at Taste of AAJA -- the Asian American Journalists Association of Minnesota benefit on Tuesday night. To see the videos, read on!


A division of the Chinese American Association of Minnesota, CAMM Chinese Dance Theater has delighted audiences since 1992. They performed for the Asian American Journalists Association of Minnesota benefit on December 9. Lion dancers: Malcolm Peterson, Mark Youngdale; Drummer: Lisa Veronneau



Shinparam is a Korean drumming group in St. Paul/Minneapolis, Minnesota. They performed for the Asian American Journalists Association of Minnesota benefit on December 9.

Other entertainment during the evening included Tou Ger Xiong, a Hmong artist and activist, and the Kukkiwon Taekwondo Academy performance team.
